Madhab Choudhury College has been functioning as an official SWAYAM-NPTEL Local Chapter (ID: 6193) since December, 2023 under the affiliation of Gauhati University. This initiative helps our students and faculty members to access high-quality online courses from India’s top institutions.

What is SWAYAM?

SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) is a national online learning platform launched by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. It offers free online courses in subjects of Science, Arts, Commerce, Management, and Technology. Students can register, watch video lectures, complete assignments, and learn at their own pace.

What is NPTEL?

NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) is a major initiative under SWAYAM, led by IITs and IISc. It provides well-structured courses with video lectures, weekly tests, and an option to appear for a certification exam. Successful candidates receive certificates from premier institutions.
