In alignment with the University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations and the foundational vision of Madhab Choudhury College to foster an ethical and transparent academic environment, the Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) serves as a vital oversight body dedicated to safeguarding the rights and well-being of our students and staff. The primary purpose of the Cell is to maintain a harmonious, fair, and accountable campus atmosphere by providing a professional platform where grievances- whether academic, administrative, or personal- can be voiced without fear of victimization. The duties of the GRC include the systematic receipt and processing of complaints related to admission discrepancies, internal evaluation fairness, non-disbursal of scholarships, and the quality of campus amenities such as the library and hostel facilities. Beyond mere dispute resolution, the committee actively engages in activities such as conducting impartial investigations, mediating between parties to ensure 'the right to be heard,' and recommending corrective measures to the college administration within a stipulated timeframe. By integrating both a physical and a personalized online redressal mechanism, the GRC ensures that every member of the Madhab Choudhury College community can seek justice through a transparent, confidential, and time-bound process, thereby upholding the institution’s long-standing legacy of integrity and social responsibility.
