Profile

The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) of Madhab Choudhury College, Barpeta, has been established to promote equity, inclusiveness, and equal access to education and institutional opportunities for all students and staff members. The Cell strives to maintain a safe and discrimination-free academic environment irrespective of gender, caste, religion, disability, socio-economic background, or any other identity. To support students from disadvantaged sections, the EOC in collaboration with IQAC actively facilitates institutional welfare schemes such as Earn While You Learn, various scholarship schemes, fee concessions, and academic support services available in the college. The Cell also undertakes awareness programmes, counselling, and grievance redressal initiatives to ensure social justice, student empowerment, and the holistic development of an inclusive and supportive campus culture.
